SMSLocate is a logistics dispatch and driver-communication platform operated by Lumisha LLC ("SMSLocate", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our service or receive text messages sent through our platform.

Information we collect

We collect and process the following information:

Contact information — mobile phone numbers and names of drivers and dispatchers provided by our business customers.
Message content — the text messages sent and received through the platform, including load assignments, status updates, and replies.
Operational data — location, city, and estimated time of arrival information that drivers voluntarily provide in reply to dispatch messages.
Proof-of-delivery media — photos of signed delivery documents that drivers submit for a load.
Account information — email addresses and login credentials for dispatcher accounts.

How we use information

We use this information solely to operate the service: to deliver operational dispatch and logistics text messages, record driver replies and locations, store proof-of-delivery records, and provide the dispatch dashboard to our business customers. Messages sent through SMSLocate are transactional and job-related. We do not use this information for advertising or send marketing messages.

SMS / mobile information. No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data) will be sold or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services strictly necessary to deliver messages (for example, our messaging carrier) is permitted. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for any other purpose.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform — most notably our telecommunications providers, which transmit the SMS messages on our behalf — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information where required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

Data retention

We retain message records and proof-of-delivery documents for as long as needed to provide the service to our business customers and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which the data is deleted or anonymized.

Your choices and opt-out

Recipients can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP returns support information. You may also contact us using the details below to request access to or deletion of your information.

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
